Calm. is an Atlanta-based rock band happily-reminiscent of the better half of the blended southern/punk rock millennium that was founded on punchy guitar rhythms and melodic heavy bands in the same light as Dance Gavin Dance and Cursive.
A band formulated in 2018 through the friendships of Victor Piacente and Travis Goure, their writing began in the collaborative environment of Kennesaw State University where the two wrote their first track, Blacklisted. From there, they knew they had something special, drawing influence from bands such as Manchester Orchestra, Hot Mulligan, The Story So Far, Radiohead and Joyce Manor – which later became a crucial piece of their single “Me Without You.”
Goure and Piacente then worked together to gather their best resources, finding Calm.’s three remaining members: Harrison Patten on bass, Wilson Sorensen playing lead guitar, and Jameson Price on drums.
The group is currently playing shows in the southeast and recording their first album in Birdhouse Studios.
Live performance of their very 1st show at the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia.
