Type of Chair
There are a few types of gaming chairs. There are rocker chairs that typically sit closer to the ground and pleasantly rock back and forth. Then there are stationary chairs that might or might not provide a few levels of incline. And finally, there are gaming chairs with wheels with many similarities to a standard office chair. Each of the three has its own benefits. There isn’t necessarily a better or worse style as it comes down to your personal preference.
RESPAWN-900
A hybrid between an office PC gaming chair and a sofa, the RESPAWN-900 is a nice mixture of both. It has a pedestal base, a drink carrier, provides swivel capabilities, and lets you recline backward by 135 degrees. Considering it’s the same height as most PC gaming chairs, you can use it for computer gaming as well as console gaming. Keep in mind, you can also get this chair as a rocker, as well.
BestOffice
Coming with wheels and a 360-degree swivel, this is a PC gaming chair customized for playing video games on a computer. The recline feature is nice. However, it makes a popping sound while reclining backward which scares many users. Also, the recline doesn’t lock as this is more of a rocker chair. These chairs resemble a standard office chair. However, this chair is very versatile since it provides flip-up arms for arm freedom. So aside from computer game usage, the flip-up arms make it easy to play games with a controller such as PS4, Xbox, etc.
Overall, both of these chairs are optimized for PC gaming. However, the RESPAWN-900 has an incorporated drink holder and leg rest.
Comfort
The ability to remain comfortable in your gaming chair for extended periods of time only makes your gaming or movie experience that much more enjoyable. If the chair possesses different recline levels or tilt, it’s also important to note which of the levels are comfy and which aren’t.

The comfort of this chair is essentially on par with the price as it doesn’t overperform or underperform. For taller people, the headrest is a bit low but it’s adjustable. The padding is a bit stiff as some people prefer it for gaming. Others however are not a fan of the stiff material. The recline is quite nice. Out of 10, we give it a 9 for comfort.
BestOffice
This chair is incredibly very comfortable for long periods up to 7 hours straight. Along with its integrated lumbar support, the back cushion is very soft, as well. You’ll also enjoy the added headrest. We actually believe one of this chair’s most positive attributes is the comfort as we give it a 9 out of 10.
Overall, both chairs are equally comfortable.
Build Quality
What good is your comfortable gaming chair with various features if it breaks sooner than you’d expected? The overall durability and longevity are crucial for any investment you make. Also, if the chair has any built-in electronics or speakers, it’s important they last long, as well. Another noteworthy attribute is the chair’s weight capacity and size. Some chairs might be a better fit for larger people, other chairs are better for medium to smaller people.

There are a few key takeaways with the construction quality; Each armrest is padded nicely, the headrest is ventilated, the left armrest has a convenient drink holder, and the entire chair along with the footrest is constructed of faux leather. As far as the overall quality, it’s pretty sturdy but nothing too surprising. For the price, I was expecting a bit higher quality material. The best part of the build is the added drink holder. Overall, we give the build quality an 8.8 out of 10.
BestOffice
This chair has about an average build quality for its price. Nothing too special, but nothing too negative, either. It’s made of breathable mesh and PU leather. The weight limit of 250 pounds is average, as well. Out of 10, we give the overall build quality a 9.2.

Built-in Speakers
Some gaming chairs provide built-in speakers and others don’t. However, many people believe that gaming chairs with incorporated speakers are more valuable for gaming since it enhances a surround sound effect. But there are a few critical questions to keep in mind for chairs with built-in speakers. Are they wireless, or do you have to plug the chair in via cord? How good is the sound quality? And my personal favorite, does the chair have an integrated subwoofer that vibrates the chair according to the game?

You can get this chair in one of five colors. However, the blue and red choices are best for enhancing your gaming setup. We believe the overall visual design is slightly above average. The primary thing that turns me off visually is the leg rest. However, the leg rest is also exceptionally comfortable.
BestOffice
This chair provides a contemporary design with its style. Regardless of which of the seven color options you choose, you’ll appreciate the striped vertical patterns.
Overall, the RESPAWN-900 has a better design.
